A few portraits I shot during my travels through India. What an amazing journey it was… There is never a dull moment in India – it is a photographers’ haven, a place of chaos, colours and beliefs so alien from the world I know. Such a busy place, but everyone still has time for each other… We were often invited into family homes for food – many people there have so little, but are so open to sharing what they have….

Images I shot from my canon G9 camera during the Iliso Labantu workshop in Langa. Twelve township based photographers and photo-students from the Iliso Labantu Photo Group spent two days last week documenting life in one small area of Langa.
A selection of their work will be exhibited this Saturday (the 17th Sep) on the same streets in which it was shot.
